Did you know how easy it is to make jam? Because up until this summer I definitely didn't.
These super ripe strawberries came from the farmers market, but could be replaced with any other fresh or frozen fruit.
Once the fruit is cut up, let it simmer in a pot for about 10 minutes. Add in 1/4 cup of sugar (white or brown), a bit of lemon zest and 2 TBSP of cornstarch dissolved in a bit of water. The cornstarch will thicken the mixture to the right consistency. Let it cool and jar it!
